The D7 Class is considered to be the space ship of Klingon origins with the most variants. In the 23rd century this battle cruiser was the most important Klingon class of vessel. As is customary with Klingon ships, the D7 also has a large bridge section that is connected to the main hull by a thinner link. In addition to photon torpedoes that are fired from the underside of the "head", these cruisers have heavy disruptors located on the front ends of the wing outriggers and are regarded as a serious opponent in armed conflicts, including opposite the 60 m long Enterprise.
