Revell Model Kit - Parachute - 00508
In about 1485 Leonardo da
Vinci, on the basis of his knowledge that air was compressible, thought
up a kind of parachute. He was convinced that his invention would
function, for he wrote beside his drawing "If a man has a tent made of
coated linen cloth with a length of 12 and a height of 12 Florentine
braccia, he can throw himself down from any great height without
injuring himself".
Model builders can now reconstruct this for themselves with this model
designed in accordance with the original drawings and the historical
models in the Museum of Science and Technology Leonardo da Vinci in
Milan. As planned by Leonardo the parachute glides to the ground.
Not suitable for children under 36 month. Small parts. Choking hazard !
